November is an important month for the students.  They will begin registration for Spring 2023.  The ability to view Spring 2023 fees will be the evening of November 23rd via the student’s MyMocsNet account.  The first E-Mocs statement will be uploaded simultaneously.  I also want to remind you of a couple of other important dates:
  • The last day to pay for Spring 2023 is Thursday, December 15th
  • Cancellation of classes for Spring 2023 due to non-payment will occur on Monday, December 19th mid-afternoon.
  • First Day of Classes for Spring 2023 is Monday, January 9, 2023.
The Bursar Office Team is prepared to assist in the educational journey of your student!  In preparation for the upcoming semester, students are encouraged to set up ACH/Direct Deposit for refunds through the student’s MyMocsNet account.  Paper checks are mailed to the permanent address on file, it can take 5-10+ days via USPS.  The Office of the Bursar advocates ACH/Direct Deposit because it is a vital step to ensure the funds expected can be delivered as quickly and securely as possible.  If assistance is needed on adding the refund account information, please go to www.utc.edu/bursar, click the “Video Instructions” tab in the middle of the page and click on the video titled “Bursar Series: Direct Deposit.

If the Tuition Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) was utilized for the Fall Semester, the final payment is due November 1st.   A $50.00 late fee is assessed if payment is not received by the designated due date.

If you have any general questions, please contact our office at 423.425.4781 or email us at Bursars-Office@utc.edu.  The office is open Monday – Friday beginning at 8:30 am until 5:00 pm.  Note: MyMocsPass Passphrase is required to receive specific information about a student’s account.

Scrappy's Cupboard was founded to address food insecurity among University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) students. We provide emergency food assistance and referrals to all UTC students without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, or covered veteran status. Scrappy's Cupboard is coordinated by the Office of Student Outreach & Support, and run by faculty, staff, and student volunteers from the UTC community.

As we approach the winter months and end of the semester, we know some students will face food insecurity. Scrappy's cupboard will be a vital resource for those in needed in our community, and we need your support to make sure the cupboard is stocked! Click below to read more about this initiative on campus and consider donating today!

Certifications from Campus Rec

Lifeguards, Group Fitness Instructors, and Intramural Officials are a few specialized certifications and trainings students can gain while in college.  Campus Recreation staff teach academic courses for to prepare students for each of these positions.  The staff offers non-credit courses for lifeguards, swim instructors and group fitness instructors.  Intramural officials are trained for each sport pre-season.  With national shortages of people to fill each of these positions, students can gain employment both on campus and off with these skills.  Group fitness instructors and intramural officials stay in shape while working, an added perk of the job!  For more information contact:

Spencer-Jordan@utc.edu for lifeguard and swim instructors training

Scarlett-Vineyard@utc.edu for group fitness instructors trainings
